About the Visual Arts Fellowship

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship Program is a vital source of funding for the visual arts and art history in Virginia. Call for entries for International Juried Photography Show

Online entries accepted for the Images From a Glass Eye International Photography show.  All photographers 18+ years may submit digital or film images they have captured.

$1,750 in prizes, $1,000 Best of Show.  Exhibit at the Big Picture gallery, Red Bluff, California, from Aug. 24-Oct. 26, 2012.  Accepted entries posted on website gallery.

A Show of Heads is a thematic exhibition based on the portrayal and interpretation of the human head to be held at the Limner Gallery, October 27 - November 24, 2012. Open for entry to all artists working in any media. $2200 in publication awards.

SURREAL VISIONS is a thematic exhibition open to all interpretations of the concept, Surreal Visions. Open to all media and styles of surreal and visionary art. 72" maximum dimension. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, September 8 - October 7, 2012. $2200 in national magazine publication awards.
